ZERO ENNA Real Name: Rei Enna GOA Serial Number: 88 Age: 15 years Bloodtype: EO Height: 156 cm Weight: 48 kg Automic: none (Zenoah) Birthplace: Planet 21NN Region 128 Colony K-01 Official description from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "Coming from a remote frontier colony, he lost his father at a very young age, leaving his mother as his only family. He's so cheerful that he sometimes gets on other people's nerves, and whenever he falters he manages to recover quickly. He can be confident even when he has no basis, because he is also an optimist. He is a little insensitive, and though he is sometimes afraid he covers for it by hiding behind arrogance. His honest character sometimes makes him enemies. He doesn't understand much of the intellectual aspect, but when he actually uses what he learns he memorizes much quickly than most of the others. His talent for piloting is still in a 'diamond in the rough' stage, and he can't completely control his EX yet." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 More or less identical. Personality: A little bit scatterbrained, a little bit inconsiderate, and totally lovable, Zero Enna is just about everybody's friend. Unless someone makes a particular effort to get in his way or antagonize him, Zero will make them like him whether they want to or not. He's unswervingly loyal and dedicated to his cause, and sometimes seems more like a force of nature than a mere human. Because he's also hotheaded and reluctant to takes things too seriously, he often winds up getting in trouble with his superiors, but he doesn't ever let it get him down: optimism is another part of his nature. Relationships: Zero gets along very well with just about everyone, and can effortlessly make people his friends. With the exception of Hiead, with whom he shares a strong rivalry and dislike, all the other boys in his group are friends with Zero. Zero also seems comfortable around the girls, even going so far as to be concerned about "Ikhny-chan" when she's upset. Zero and Kizna have a very open and honest relationship, and seem more like a pair of siblings than a working partnership, sometimes bickering and sometimes protective. Zero's best friend is Erts, whom he respects and admires but also feels responsible for and wants to support. Analysis: Zero appears to be very open and friendly on the surface, but this may not be the case. The official description calls him "timid" (according to NarutoHouse's probably-much-better translation). When you watch Zero in action, he doesn't seem very timid... but that's because there's another level to Zero, as hinted by his mask of arrogance. Zero likes everyone to think that he shares everything and has no secrets -- what you see is what you get, that's the impression people get from Zero. But inside there's a deeper layer, a more thoughtful layer, where he takes things seriously and wants to help people. Zero has a surprisingly strong natural defense: instead of pushing everybody away so that they can't touch the core of him, he seems to prefer to make friends with everybody, so that they all THINK that they know him really well, while keeping that innermost core hidden. All along he's maintained that he wants to be a Pilot, but he's kept from everyone the real reason, that he has to be a Pilot so that his colony can get more energy; his inefficiency with the Standard language and general ineloquence hide his more insightful side very well; he makes friends easily but only one of them can be called a truly close friend. According to the character profiles, everyone else is just a classmate. All the info above is from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/nanba88.htmlZero Enna is the hero of the story. He is an energetic, enthusiastic candidate who has a strong will to become a Goddess Pilot. He is very completive, and rather arrogant, but we all know he has a sensitive side. Zero has some complications when trying to be a pilot, he suffers from zero gravity sickness and has uncontrollable EX reactions, however Zero seems to be mostly likely to become a top pilot, he’s skillful and also seems to have a amazing ‘connection’ with the Goddesses. In the anime, Zero was able to sync with the Goddess (Eeca Leena) after falling into it without even having it configured personality to him. This would usually risk a pilots life, however Zero was even able to move the Goddess. During this time Zero has strange visions, what they are about we are still yet to find out. Why does Zero want to pilot the Goddesses? This small came about when his colony was attacked by a Victim, and the Goddesses saved him, and it seemed as though the Goddess specially saved him, picking him in her hands, protecting. Zero hasn’t always been known as Zero. In fact, his real name is Rei. They told they had to change his name when entering GOA because his name was ‘weird.’ sadly, being called Rei is the only thing he still has from his past, he can’t even remember his mothers face. What exactly happens in Zero’s past? I still don’t know. Ok. That part is from nim-bitz.com/zero/candi.htmI don’t know if that site is still up. I printed out that page a long time ago and I retyped it back up here. And this last part is from: satinflame.net/resuko/megami/profile/zero.htmlI’m not sure it that site is still up either (I tried). The same thing happened with the thing above. This thing is pretty much the same, but sums it all up. Zero is the main character of the series. His past is only somewhat known. We know he has a sickly mother and for some reason his father is not on the scene. His real name is Rei and when he was a young boy he first saw the white Goddess when a Victim attacked his colony. Ever since that day he has longed to be a pilot. Zero is hyper, head-strong, silly, short tempered, completive and friendly. Sometimes all at the same time. We first meet him on the transport ship to GOA being his loud, hyper self, marveling at finally seeing a planet of the first time and seeing the Goddesses in battle in the distance. It is on a shop that he meets Hiead and Clay. He forms a small friendship with Clay and a starting rivalry with Hiead. It is also the first time we see him use his EX in a fight with Hiead. It consists of incredible speed which he used to pull Hiead’s pants down. Then he continued to mock him and make fun of him. Zero can be arrogant sometimes too and has no respect for his superiors. He calls Azuma “old man” repeatedly before finding out he was the instructor. He also wasn’t sure of how to greet a senior candidate properly, making him a novice to customs. He has a short attention and sometimes whines about such things as being ‘hot and sweaty’ during the opening ceremony, causing Azuma to hit him. He really has no common sense of respect. He is a incredible fighter, despite his “Zero-gravity sickness” where weightlessness makes his nauseous. He loves competition and is always trying his best to upstage Hiead no matter how many times he finds himself one step behind him. They usually end up fighting. He gets into trouble with Clay a lot, because Clay stimulates his sense of curiosity so they are always trying to get into things they’re not supposed to. He picks on Yamagi’s height and sees him as a ‘mini’ rival but no big deal, just someone to mess with. The one person he admires most is Erts and immediately treats him like a friend. He also likes to test his own skills against him. His relationship with his partner is kind of a love-hate thing. They are compatible when it comes to training. Kizna gives him support and corrects his wrongs, keeping him safely in mind despite his stubbornness. She even helps him get over his ‘sickness’. most of the time however they fight and bicker over everything and anything. Despite all this, there is a mutual bond between them that grows as they get to know each other better. Zero is a special boy. The depths of his EX is unknown, but Hiead has already made it clear to him that they are not like the others. Zero is the only one of the candidates to step into an actual Ingrid. He came face to face with the ‘spirit’ of the Ingrid and she told him that he saw the same things she saw because he was just like her. He was able to synchronize with the Goddess when in reality only the pilots are able to do that. He has dreams and visions of his past, a female presence under a tree and even an alternate life. He saw the horizon of a planet when he was never lived on one before. He ever saw the accident in which Kizna lost her ears, even though he had never previously met her. Like the other pilots he is slowly losing his memories and for some reason his is the only one, besides Clay to notice this. A lot of mysteries involving Zero, also involve Hiead. They are the only candidates with no Atmics on their bodies, known as Zenoah. They have ‘the same’ EX, forming a connection between them and Teela. For some reason they are also being looked at closely by the officials of GOA, including Azuma.

Hiead Gner [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] HIEAD GNER GOA Serial Number: 87 Age: 15 years Bloodtype: EO Height: 160 cm Weight: 52 kg Automic: none? (Zenoah) Official description, from the main character profiles in Tank 1: "A war orphan who has lived through many hardships, he doesn't trust people, but he gets very clingy when it comes to money. His voice, behavior, and expressions are always cold. He has a strong hatred for people who have been cared for and raised lovingly. He has the same EX as Zero, and they are rivals." Official description, from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3: "A Candidate for Goddess. His number is 87. Since infancy he has lived in severe circumstances as a war orphan, and (seeing things from that perspective) he has nothing but hatred for people he thinks have led happy lives. He does not trust other people, but he is very emphatic about financial matters. His behavior and expression are always cold. He feels an especially strong sense of hostility towards Zero." Personality: Closed-off and isolated, Hiead Gner comes off as perhaps the exact opposite of Zero. Fiercely independent and cold to everyone, he appears to be passionate about very little other than winning and becoming the best. He doesn't hesitate to bully those who are weaker and less confident than he is. When challenged he becomes violent and nearly uncontrollable, and finds it almost personally offensive when people try to understand him. He keeps to himself -- in both his problems and his emotions. Relationships: None. Really. The other boys take care to avoid him and Hiead appears to pretend they don't exist as often as possible; Zero is the only one whose presence Hiead will acknowledge, and even then only in a sneering or challenging manner. Aside from his hatred of Zero, Hiead seems to consider everyone on the same unworthy level: even Ikhny, his partner, never wins so much as a glance from him unless she's deliberately getting in his way, and after a while, she knows better than to do that. Analysis: Hiead is consumed with negativity. Hatred and jealousy and fury rule his mind; the only time he's ever been seen to smile in the series is while hurting other people (namely, when he put Yamagi in the hospital). He is sometimes plagued by nightmares of a time in his earlier life when he was deemed a failure by persons unknown, and with that in mind he has become obsessed with the thought of becoming more than just a failure -- and is willing to destroy anyone who stands in his way. The person he perceives to be most in his way is Zero Enna, who has the same EX as he does. Their identical psionic abilities mean that only one of them will truly be able to "win", and Hiead is determined not to be a failure again. Note: For those of you who've seen the whole anime, the dream-visions that we see of Hiead's past during Curriculum 10 have not appeared in the manga thus far. It may or may not be true. Info from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/nanba87.htmlHiead in a way is the antagonist of the story, always giving the main character problems. He is somewhat of a mystery himself. He is definitely the kind of person who would rather work alone. He detaches himself from the group and feels no need to make friends. He also never smiles unless it is some kind of evil or defiant type of smile. He is usually quiet and stands on the sidelines observing everything. He can be arrogant and nasty when he feels like (especially to Zero) and doesn’t mind resulting to violence. He is a ‘business only’ type of guy keeping himself focused on being the best at any cost, and resembles Teela a lot in his introverted ways. We first meet Hiead as he is being transported to GOA along with Zero and Clay. He is quietly sitting on his own as usual and it is through Zero’s loud commotion that he first develops a strong distaste for the boy and his ’immaturity.’ At one point they end up fighting (both are short tempered) and from there on stems the biggest rivalry between them. Everything he does is to spite Zero in some way, because both are after the same goal. He has no problems getting on his last nerves and picking fights, anything to get the other boy in trouble and out of the picture. He seems to think of Zero as a threat, secretly spying on him and nothing down all of the boys accomplishments silently. He probably knows about him than anyone else. Hiead is an extremely great fighter. He is one of the only people who can match, if not surpass, Zero’s abilities completing his tasks with relative ease and even beating the crap out of one of the senior candidates. We find out that both Zero and himself are somehow connected to Teela in the fact that they share the same EX. He cares for nothing or no one and only wishes to become the pilot of a Goddess, although his reasons for being on are still unclear. He is aided by his partner Ikhny, but his relationship with her is very stale. She fears him and worries about him at the same time, while he makes it very clear (really meanly too) that he only wants her around to do her job. Hiead’s past is also a mystery. We know nothing of his family. He has repeating nightmares/visions where he is younger, holding a gun and has seemly shot people as he runs through the dirty streets of some alley, covered in blood. It is about the only time we see any sign of weakness in him. He is also prone to breaking down, as was demonstrated once when his EX went rampage and they had to ‘knock him out’ to keep from blowing GOA up. Hiead has a lot of issues that he won’t share with anyone and something says he will become an even more important character later on as he seems to understand or be aware of things that the others don’t. That info is from: www.satinflame.net/resuko/megami/profile/hiido.html

Clay Cliff Fortran [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] CLAY CLIFF FORTRAN GOA Serial Number: 89 Age: 15 years Bloodtype: EO Height: 159 cm Weight: 53 kg Automic: unknown Official description from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "A classmate of Zero's, and the most sensible of their group. Although he is interested in GOA, he does not really want to become a Pilot. He appears to be entertained by many things. He has a habit of saying 'Very interesting'." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "A Candidate for Goddess. His number is 89. He's the intellectual of the group, preferring to fight with his brain than his muscles; reason is his favorite trait. He had an ulterior motive for becoming a Candidate for Goddess -- not because he wanted to become a Goddess Pilot, but because he was interested in GOA. He is full of curiosity, and he has a habit of saying 'Very interesting...'" Personality: A genius -- and well aware of it -- Clay loves learning and discovering things. Even if, technically, he is not allowed to know these things, or has used illicit means to acquire them. Perhaps Clay would've made a good teacher, in better circumstances; he loves explaining and sharing his knowledge with others. Unfortunately, since he hangs out with Zero-tachi, his information is rarely held in high regard. Or, for that matter, even heard. And -- also unfortunately -- what he hates the most is being ignored. Except on the battlefield, because Clay is not the best fighter (put lightly) and spends more time running away from battle than participating in it, which gets him in considerable trouble with his Repairer and Instructors. Relationships: Clay seems closer to Zero than any of the other boys, but he gets along fairly well with everyone, even Hiead. (If only because he's so pathetic that Hiead doesn't want to speak to him.) A lot of the time Clay winds up getting largely humored while he rambles on about theories, but just the fact that they're willing to tolerate him and not punch him in the jaw to shut him up says something, right? Clay's Repairer, Saki, is a very smart girl, which naturally appeals to him, so they get along very well in spite of the fact that she's really too ambitious to be a great match for him. Analysis: Above and beyond all else, Clay loves knowledge. He has experience in hacking into computers (and mecha!) and can do some truly amazing things with his laptop. While he has trouble applying these concepts in practical situations, his real block comes because there's a point where his knowledge runs out. There are things he doesn't know about GOA, things that he doesn't understand about this war and the things that drive it, and things that he doesn't comprehend about the place that he and his friends hold in the scheme of things. Clay tries to fill in these blanks much harder than he tries to become a better Candidate. But in spite of how fond he is of sharing what he learns, there's something he knows that he's been hiding -- something which could change his entire life if discovered. Note for users of fan Japanese: "Very interesting" is not said with 'omoshiroi' or any other commonly-known word that means 'interesting'. Clay's favored term is "Kyoumi bukai". "Kyoumi" literally means "an interest [in something]", so it's much more appropriate than "omoshiroi", which really means interesting in the sense of "fun", not as in something to be observed closely. "Bukai" is a spoken form of "fukai", which means "deeply". Clay is basically saying that the object of his current attention is worthy of devout study. It's a very... Clay thing to say. Yamagi Kushida [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] YAMAGI KUSHIDA GOA Serial Number: 86 Age: 15 years Bloodtype: EO Height: unknown Weight: unknown Automic: unknown (according to the anime, his left middle finger) Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3: "A Candidate for Goddess. His number is 86. Even though he is the type to use his fists before talking things through, he doesn't necessarily enjoy getting into fights. He is very insecure about how short he is, but doesn't want everyone to know. His home colony was shut down (note from Kay: read that as 'destroyed', most likely) and he wants to become a Goddess Pilot with a powerful enthusiasm." Personality: Despite his rough and hostile exterior, Yamagi just wasn't meant to be a truly mean person. He spends a lot his time maintaining that illusion of surliness, but he very easily becomes friends with people, and he is deeply protective of those he cares about. "Sensitive" isn't the first thing that comes to mind to describe Yamagi, but nobody really takes his tough-guy facade very seriously either. It's kind of hard... considering how short he is, and how much fun people seem to find in making him get defensive about it! Relationships: Yamagi is closest to Zero of the other boys in his group, but is good friends with both Roose and Clay as well. Hiead is another matter entirely -- while Yamagi seemed neutral to him at first, after their first Pro-Ing match Yamagi came to despise Hiead for what he did, although the feeling is not mutual simply because Hiead doesn't acknowledge Yamagi as any sort of possible source of trouble. Yamagi seems to be a bit nervous and hesitant around the girls, and his own Repairer, Tukasa, appears to actively terrify him. And not without reason... Analysis: Yamagi is a strong guy, but underneath the surface he actually spends more time hiding from his own suffering than dealing with it. Rather than face up to the deaths of his family, he chooses to ignore them and think harshly of his mother, probably reviling their memories so that it doesn't hurt him so much as if he remembered them fondly. For all that he's dedicated to becoming a Pilot, actual battle makes him nervous, and being in a leadership position tends to bother him more than anything else. Underneath the crusty exterior, Yamagi can actually be said to be just a great big marshmallow. Info from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/nanba86.html

Roose Sawamura [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] ROOSE SAWAMURA GOA Serial Number: 85 Age: 14 years Bloodtype: EO Height: unknown Weight: unknown Automic: left middle finger, others? (according to the anime, unknown) Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "A Candidate for Goddess. His number is 85. When he first entered GOA he was 15 kilograms overweight, but he succeeded in dieting under the instruction of his partner Wrecka, and lost a good deal of weight. His character is mild and he doesn't like arguing. He can be quite indecisive, but he realizes that and is struggling to change somehow." Personality: Roose is probably not what they had in mind for Candidacy when they formed GOA. He's timid and weak-willed, insecure and whiny. But he's also very sweet and loves everyone equally, even to the point where he's warm and kind to Hiead, who terrifies him; he's consistently adoring of Wrecka and Yamagi, even though they're sometimes cruel to him; he regards Zero as one of his closest friends, despite how rarely they come into contact. Unfortunately, his generous heart often gets him in trouble, because he can not stand to hurt others, and consequently does not do well in battle scenarios. Relationships: Roose actively adores Yamagi, often following him around and nagging him for attention like an attention-starved puppy or worshipful little brother; Yamagi humors him but is clearly kind of put-off by the reverence. Roose is very fond of the other boys as well, and in some cases even without reason -- while Zero has gone the extra mile to comfort Roose when he was distraught, Hiead has never so much as looked at the younger boy, and Roose still seems happy to see him half of the time. Wrecka, Roose's Repairer, is also extremely important to him, and they're involved in some... ambiguous sort of sexual relationship. Analysis: Roose is perfectly open, often coming off as nothing more and nothing less than exactly what he seems to be. He's hesitant and uncertain when it comes to fighting, and doesn't think highly of his own skill at piloting (albeit with decent reason). While he tends to get very clingy to his friends and teammates, even repeated rejections don't faze him a bit. Roose is a soft and rather malleable character, with an unassuming personality that can be easily molded to fit the expectations of others -- and there is, as it turns out, a reason for this. Info from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/nanba85.htmlI had to put two up of Roose cuz he is just so kawaii!

Teela Zain Elmes [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] TEELA ZAIN ELMES Nickname: First Ingrid: Ernn Laties Age: 15 years Height: 156 cm Weight: 42 kg Automic: none? (Zenoah) Bloodtype: EO Official description from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "The Top Pilot of the Five Goddesses, and the only female. She is very dedicated to her duty, and her battle ability is almost frighteningly high. Not much is known about her. She is the perfect woman, but she does not seem to be lively or energetic. Although she saved Zero when he was 10 years old, her appearance has hardly changed, so how is that possible...? She is the greatest Top of all time, and she seems to have two different EX abilities. Zero has the same EX that she does. One other person also shares that EX..." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "Pilot of the Goddess Ernn Laties. As the Top of the five Goddess Pilots, she is the leader who directs the movements of the other four. Her nickname is 'First'. Of the five Goddess Pilots, she is the only female; no one is quite sure how she can be a Pilot when it is fact that only men have the ability to become Pilots. In addition, while the other Goddesses get new Pilots on a regular basis, she has remained in her position for an extraordinary period of time (it is said that this is because of her two EX abilities). Because of her strong dedication to her duty, she has a very high efficiency ratio in combat; coupled with her beauty, she presents a powerful image of the perfect woman. However, she almost doesn't seem to be alive at all, and her private life is shrouded in mystery." Personality: Cool and aloof, Teela is a walking enigma. She's a mysterious figure, usually seen in the position of the secret-holder, hinting at something she knows but never quite revealing it to the reader. She is solitary and reserved, but this is not to say that she's uncaring: she, too, mourns at the loss of her comrades, and longs for the day when the fighting will stop. Relationships: Teela does not interact with the other Pilots. When she does, it is in a very distant and impersonal way. She speaks very fondly of both Zero and Hiead, however, even calling Zero by his real name, "Rei". And she is also very attached to Dr. Rivould -- what time she does not spend in battle is usually spent with him or caring for him. Oddly enough, Teela also appears to have a deeply personal connection with the Goddesses of the other four Ingrids... Info from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/pilot01.html

Gareas Elidd [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] GAREAS ELIDD Nickname: Garu Ingrid: Eeva Leena Age: 17 years Bloodtype: EO Height: 176 cm Weight: 65 kg Automic: unknown Official description, from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "The Number Two Goddess Pilot who attacks in a charge. He insists on being the one to set the mood, and at times when he can't do anything, he sometimes winds up acting like a worried husband He isn't particularly fond of Teela (because she had taken the position of Top). Being strong, quick-tempered and rough, his behavior tends to be disrespectful and his speech often out-of-order. Whenever he tries to hit it off with a woman, Rio quickly jumps in and starts a confrontation about it. Because he is the oldest, his physique is stronger than the others'. He is also very fond of drinking. Surprising? His relationship with Ernest is the best (because they were in the same group as Candidates)." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "Pilot of the Goddess Eeva Leena. The No. 2 of the Goddess Pilots. He takes charge whenever he enters a battle situation. Although he has very high battle ability, he has a very large flaw in that he refuses to follow orders. He has a strong self-confidence inside him, but also a quick temper. In regard to women he is exceedingly active, and that is the cause of much conflict between him and the other Pilots. He often disregards orders, and he speaks and behaves with obvious roughness, but this only means that he sets the atmosphere among the Five Goddess Pilots." Personality: Thoughtless, aggressive, perhaps even a bit cruel, Garu is nobody's idea of the perfect best friend. He's violent even to people he likes, always puts his own interests first, and often does things that he knows will hurt those who are close to him. Even though he often winds up regretting his rashness later, it would simply never occur to him to change. He's impatient and bossy and likes to be in charge, and it grates on him that he has to obey others -- he doesn't take orders very well, even when it may mean life or death for him... or others. Analysis: Gareas is a very demanding, in-control individual, but he feels a lot deeper than most people credit him for. When he is depressed, it is a deep, black depression; when he is enthusiastic, it is a sincere, passionate enthusiasm. This is what drew Ernest to him when they were Candidates. The loss of good standing with his Goddess absolutely ruined him -- he lost control over battle and his own life in one hideous coincidence, and he was rapidly spiralling into self-destruction until Ernest and Eeva Leena herself snapped him out of it. He is a man who does things with all his heart, and has no regrets... save, possibly, one. Relationship: As mentioned in Leena's profile, she and Gareas are lovers. They don't behave very lover-like, however; Garu pays no more heed to her or her opinions than he would pay to anyone else's, and Leena shows as much concern for most others as she does for him, and even more so when it comes to special cases like Tune. In short theirs seems like a partnership with benefits -- not so much the behavior of a pair in love as a pair of close friends who have very little reservation about where exactly the boundary between "affection" and "love" lie. They often quarrel but are usually on an equal footing, behaving almost playfully with each other, but they don't really address deep emotional issues to each other, preferring to leave that to the other important people in their lives, refusing to burden their relationship with something less than light-hearted. Relationships with others: Gareas won't hesitate to argue with anyone without holding back, but he's really very attached to his friends. As said, he feels closest to Ernest because of their earlier acquaintance, and has a sort of amiable rivalry going on with Rioroute; Garu feels a sort of grudging respect for Teela, but hardly wants to hang out with her in his spare time, probably thinking of her as creepy, and the same most likely goes for Yu. Ernest Cuore [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] ERNEST CUORE Ingrid: Luhma Klein Age: 17 years Bloodtype: EO Height: 170 cm Weight: 59 kg Automic: unknown Official description from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "He is gentle and kind to everyone, but there is also a complex side of him that likes being lonely. He is always polite, and plays mediator whenever necessary. His EX is telepathy, and although at first he didn't like for people to touch him because of that, but after meeting Garu as Candidates in GOA he came to think of his power as a positive thing. However, his EX was still widely perceived as disagreeable, and he often wondered why he had to have it. During battle he can take advantage of his EX by enhancing each Ingrid to 120% power with his support for its Pilot." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "Pilot of the Goddess Luhma Klein. He is a quiet and calm character, however, his is a complicated situation underneath the surface, because one half of his heart likes loneliness, and he hates that about himself. His words are polite, and his manner is soft. When something happens, he is the one who becomes the caretaker or the mediator. His EX (telepathy) is often perceived as unpleasant, and he tended to avoid contact with others as a result, but after prolonged contact with the other Pilots (especially Gareas Elidd) this instinct has been cancelled out. It seems that he has a younger brother, but his family line is unclear, and it’s not quite certain." Personality: Overall, Ernest is quite serious and not a little reserved, but he is also very compelled to help people. He doesn't have many friends, but what few he does are extremely important to him, and he'd do anything to help them. He's focused on whatever he does, whether it's helping his friends or fighting in battle, but somewhat insecure when it comes to socializing with people he doesn't already know. Along with his insecurity and his constant concern for others, Ernest is patient and difficult to push from his usual state of equilibrium. Relationship: Tune is completely and totally in love with Ernest. She keeps this a secret from him, always hoping he'll never turn his EX on her and see deeply enough to know her emotions, because she believes that it would only trouble him. And she may be correct, as Ernest seems to perceive Tune mostly as a loyal companion and kind person -- and little else. Even calling them "friends" might be stretching their relationship, for Ernest rarely thinks of her or interacts with her unless she's approached him first. His mind is occupied with other things... Relationships with others: ...because Ernest is in love with Gareas in his own turn. He has said that his reason to become a Pilot was to support and protect Garu, and Garu was the one who drew him out of his shell and made him unafraid to breach the world around him. Ernest is also fond of the other Pilots, trying to help Yu become more open or humoring Rioroute in his more energetic moods. Info from: www.dualpotential.net/cast/pilot05.html#a

Rioroute Vilgyna [glow=red,2,300]Needed[/glow] RIOROUTE VILGYNA Nickname: Rio Ingrid: Agui Keameia Age: 16/17 years (he's been listed as both) Height: 168 cm Weight: 56 kg Automic: bicep of right arm, others? Bloodtype: EO Official description from the main character profiles in Tank 1 "He seems to have a rather arrogant personality, but he is the kind of person who enjoys being a cheerful idiot. However, in the group, he is kinder and more emotional most of the time. Although he is a playful person, his only favorite is Phil Phleira. He accepts Teela as the leader. He has worked hard to reach the point where it's typical for him and Garu to argue over women. His body is tight and muscular. He is the fourth of a large family. He has a younger brother whose bloodtype is also EO and who will soon enter into GOA." Official description from the character profiles in the back of Tank 3 "A Goddess Pilot. His beloved mecha is Agui Keameia. His body is very fit, although not overly muscular, making him a very healthy glutton. His egocentric behavior and arrogant speech can be clearly observed, but that is a cover for his cheerful and gentle character (the truth is that he is unexpectedly sentimental). Although he's very proactive about pursuit of women, he is also quite earnest when it comes to love. He's very skilled at finding his own places everywhere he goes, probably as a result of family influence (he is the fourth child in a very large family). He has a younger brother who plans to enter GOA before long." Personality: Rioroute can best be described as a force of nature. He loves the spotlight and thrives under close attention; he enjoys entertaining his friends, and considers everyone to be his friend. He'll flirt with anything female, although his preferred target is his Repairer, Phil. He loves to play but his fellow Pilots sometimes have problems with his method of playing, or -- as with some of them -- just don't want to play at all. It doesn't stop the irrepressible Rio! Relationship: Phil and Rio have a great deal of romantic tension, but Phil completely denies its existence. Phil is terrified that Rio might not come back from the battle one day, and she doesn't want to be the lover who survived -- she'd rather refuse to acknowledge her love at all, and watch him from the sideline. Rioroute may seem playful and upbeat, and may not take it too seriously when she rejects him, but when Phil is upset he gets truly unhappy, revealing that he honestly cares for her, that the casualness is only an act. Relationships with others: Rio, naturally, is everybody's friend. Sometimes he gets on their nerves -- Ernest sometimes seems a bit exasperated with him, or he crashes in on Yu's personal time and triggers a hostile reaction, or he and Gareas start acting like rivals and competing in a friendly (albeit loud) manner -- but nobody seems to be able to actually dislike him.
